Dahua Fixed Priced Packages Terms & Conditions

Our Dahua fixed priced packages are based on:
  • Homes located within our service area
  • Single Story Dwelling
  • Tiled Roof
An additional surcharge of $150 on top of the package price applies to a single story dwelling with a colourbond roof due to the extra labour involved. Additional surcharges apply to cameras located on out buildings e.g. sheds. For Double story dwellings please submit an enquiry, price on application (POA).

Warranty and Guarantee Policy

  • Knox Security Services is proud to provide a comprehensive guarantee on all our services, along with a 3-year warranty on our range of systems as outlined below:
  • Warranty on Knox-Supplied Equipment Knox Security Services provides a 3-year warranty on all equipment supplied and installed by our technicians, effective from the date specified on the invoice.

  • Customer-Supplied Equipment For customer-supplied equipment installed by a Knox Security Services technician, an installation warranty applies. Any faults with such equipment are the customer’s responsibility. If a technician is required to return to remove or reinstall customer-supplied equipment, an additional fee may apply.

  • Exclusions The warranty does not cover batteries, cables, or similar consumable items.
  • Hard drives used in CCTV systems are covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty only.

  • Warranty Period The warranty is valid for three years from the invoice date unless otherwise specified.

  • Network Issues Knox Security Services is not responsible for network issues, external factors, signal quality changes, or NBN service interruptions in your area.

  • Unauthorized Use or Modifications The warranty is void if the system is misused or modified by someone other than a Knox Security Services technician.

  • App and Password Resets Resetting apps or passwords on new devices is not covered by the warranty and will be treated as a billable service.

  • First Right to Repair Knox Security Services reserves the right to be the first to address any equipment faults or property damage within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Liability Limitation Knox Security Services liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of damaged or faulty equipment.

  • Response Time We aim to have a technician attend your premises within seven days of a warranty claim.

  • Ownership of Equipment All equipment remains the property of Knox Security Services until the full invoice amount is paid.

  • Debt Recovery Costs If an invoice remains unpaid and is referred to a debt collection agency, the client will be responsible for any additional recovery costs.

  • Non-Warranty Issues If a Knox Security Services technician attends and determines the issue is not covered by warranty, a service call fee may be charged.

  • Terms & Conditions: Support Services Scope of Support Knox Security Services provides support exclusively for products supplied directly by us. Limited support is available for equipment not supplied by Knox Security, subject to our discretion and the availability of resources. Support Channels Warranty Support: Knox Security offers a 3-year warranty for all products supplied by us. Warranty support is provided via the following channels: Phone Support: Available during business hours to assist with troubleshooting and inquiries. Remote Support: Where feasible, Knox Security can remotely assist customers to resolve issues. On-Site Support On-site support is available upon request. However, if the issue is not a valid warranty claim (e.g., equipment failure due to misuse, third-party interference, or issues with non-supplied equipment), a service call fee will apply. The service call fee will be communicated prior to scheduling the visit and is payable upon completion of the service. Limitations of Support Knox Security is not liable for issues arising from third-party products, installation errors not performed by our team, or user-related errors. Limited support for non-supplied equipment does not include warranty coverage or extended troubleshooting. Exclusions Support for obsolete or unsupported third-party systems may be declined or incur additional charges.
  • Amendments to Terms Knox Security Services reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be reflected on our official website and communicated to customers as necessary.
